Paul Edwards is the FIRST American to win the Full Scholarship to the 1996 Formula Renault Elf Campus Series after dominating the 2 day competition made up of the top ten pupils of the International competition.

Swift Factory Works Team Driver in the British Formula Ford Zetec
Championship Series.
 
1996
Top Novice Driver Award.
Track Record Set as 1st Swift driver to qualify on pole during first
year of competion.
3 pole positions and 2 First Place finishes were achieved ouside the
series.
 
1997
FIRST American in two decades to win a round in the British
Championship.
 
Formula Ford World Finals 1997
Represented the USA through the Valvoline Team USA Scholarship - Sat on Pole and won both the quarter finals, semi-finals, and retained the track record at Brands Hatch. The Finals resulted in a crash due to an error by a fellow competitor, taking Paul out of third on the last corner of the checkered flag lap.
 
Team Green Academy: 1996-97
Selected both years as one of America's top 25 most promising, up and coming drivers, and a top 5 finalist in the 97 competition.
 
Formula Renault Sport - 1998
Paul competed in a number of events, but funding prevented the
completion.
 
1998 Valvoline Team USA Scholarship
Allowed him to represent the USA in both the European Formula Opel Championship for the balance of the regular season and for the winter series.
 
Formula Opel European Union Series - 1998
Competed in the final 3 meetings (6 races) of the regular series always finishing in the top 10 with a top five position at the final race held in conjunction with the Formula 1 race at Hockenheim, Germany.
 
European Formula Opel Winter Series - 1998
CHAMPION of the European Formula Opel Winter Series and FIRST American to ever win a round in the European Formula Drivers Association.
